Lafayette is a crossroads village on Route 15 north of Sparta, and The Farmstead Golf & Country Club sits just off it. The drive from Sparta is direct; from Morris County it is Route 15 the whole way, which backs up at Lake Hopatcong on a summer Friday evening. Mauricio builds that into any rehearsal-dinner timing.
