The questions couples don’t always think to ask — and the ones that matter most. Here’s how Mauricio keeps your wedding photos safe.
Liability insurance
Mauricio carries general liability insurance and sends your venue its certificate on request, at no charge. Certificate requests are answered within 24 hours.
Dual-card backup in the camera
Every camera Mauricio shoots with has dual card slots. Each photo is written to two memory cards at the same moment, so if one card fails, your photos survive.
Redundant file storage
After your wedding, your files are backed up to a local drive, an offsite drive and encrypted cloud storage. They are kept for at least 12 months after delivery.
A backup photographer if Mauricio is sick
In the rare case Mauricio is unable to shoot, a backup photographer he trusts covers your wedding at no additional cost. You will be told straight away.
Weather, illness and the unforeseen
If your wedding is postponed for weather, illness in your immediate family or other unforeseen circumstances, your retainer transfers to a new date within 12 months, subject to availability. See the terms for the details.

What gear does Mauricio bring?
Professional full-frame cameras, backup bodies and lenses, and on- and off-camera lighting. Every essential piece has a backup.
What if a memory card or camera fails during the day?
Dual-card recording means every photo is written to two cards at once. If one fails, the second card holds the same image. In 14 years, Mauricio has never lost a client's photos.
What if Mauricio gets sick or has an emergency?
A backup photographer Mauricio trusts shoots your wedding at no additional cost, with the same approach and the same delivery timeline.
How long are my files kept?
At least 12 months after gallery delivery, across separate backup locations. After that, you are responsible for storing your downloaded files, so download your gallery early.
Is Mauricio bonded?
Not by default; a bond can be arranged if your venue requires one.
