Our commitment

Hariel Xavier Photography wants harielxavier.com to work for everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control or other assistive technology. We treat accessibility problems as bugs and fix them.

The standard we work to

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. In practice that means text alternatives for meaningful images, enough color contrast, pages that work with a keyboard alone, visible focus, labelled form fields, and content that reflows on small screens without horizontal scrolling. We review pages against these points and fix problems as we find them.

Known limitations

• Much of the site is photography. We describe images where the description carries meaning, but we can’t describe every frame of a full wedding gallery.
• Client galleries and the live guest slideshow are delivered by a separate product (Picsui) and follow that product’s accessibility support.
